Preliminary Layout

Masthead  (Name of magazine): Possibilities – -         “Guide To Growing Up” -         “Guide to the Next Level” -         “The Next Level” With these masthead examples we are hoping it will grab the attention of the students and parents. Peer Pitch & Concept Refinement Chart

    After presenting our pitch it was clear we did not understand what we were being asked to do. At that time, it was time for us to break it down and start back over. We based our pitch off of one specific feature article instead of basing it mainly about our magazine as a whole. One specific example of feedback we received from our class with to restart; our class advised that we started from the bottom again and got more organized. After looking back on what we present I believe one of our issues was not completely understand what a pitch actually was. A pitch means; “ a line of talk that attempts to persuade someone or something, with a planned sales presentation strategy of a product or service designed to initiate and close a sale of the product or service”, Wikipedia.      This impacted our view of our concept a lot being that we had to start from the bottom again.
